About Me

I have immigrated to New Zealand from Vietnam at a young age and have completed both my medical degree in 2002 and specialist degree in New Zealand. I have been a specialist gynaecologist since 2012.

My private practices are at Ormiston Specialist Centre and Crawford Specialist Centre. I perform my surgeries at Ormiston Hospital. I am an affiliated provider for Southern Cross and NIB insurance. All medical insurances are welcomed.

I am also working as a consultant at Middlemore Hospital and is an Honorary Senior Lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology for the Auckland School of Medicine.

I am a member of the Australian Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology. I have furthered her qualifications by gaining a Diploma of Diagnostic Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2016.

I am very honoured to be awarded the prestigious Young Gynaecologist Award at the Asia and Oceania Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (AOFOG) congress. I was recognised ahead of my peers in 23 other countries for my outstanding leadership qualities, research and high standard of practice. I am undoubtedly passionate about excellence in Women’s Health.

This year, I have been awarded the Counties Manukau DHB service award for Women's Health.

I am multilingual and speaks English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Teochew and Vietnamese

My areas of interests are:

- General gynaecology: menstrual disorders, ovarian cyst, fibroids

- Hysteroscopy - submucosal fibroids, endometrial polyps

- Advance laparoscopy - endometriosis treatment, laparoscopy removal of fibroids and laparoscopy hysterectomy

- Colposcopy: treatment of abnormal smears

- Early gynaecology cancers: uterine/ ovary or cervix
